HOW LEARNING WORKS

Coursework. Practice. Clinical supervision.

Online learning, hands-on preparation, and clinical education serve different purposes. The program pages explain what to ask about in each stage.

Review program eligibility guidance
01

Online academic coursework

Build understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, equipment, and clinically relevant concepts.

02

Practical preparation

Explore instrumentation, procedures, and simulated skills practice; workshop arrangements vary by pathway.

03

Supervised clinical learning

Understand site onboarding, qualified supervision, and clinical participation requirements before enrolling.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS

Before you make a decision

Practical answers for comparing the Academy's two pathways.

View all questions
Is all training completed online?

No. Coursework, practical preparation, and supervised clinical learning are different components. Ask for the current requirements of your chosen program.

Where can I find tuition and start dates?

Published tuition is $9,900 for EEG and $17,990 for IONM, with additional fees and expenses. Amounts can change. See tuition and fees, and ask admissions for confirmed next-cohort dates.

Does completion automatically confer certification?

No. ABRET determines examination eligibility and credentialing under its current rules. Program recognition and individual certification are different.
