Our website and hosting or security providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring webpage, pages visited, date and time of access, and diagnostic or security logs. We use this information to operate, protect, and improve the website.

Sensitive information

Please do not include Social Security numbers, payment-card details, patient information, medical or immunization records, or background-check documents in public website forms or ordinary email. If such documents are needed for a later admissions or clinical process, we will explain the appropriate submission method and relevant privacy information.

03 How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to questions and provide requested program or admissions information.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to promotional communications.

04 How We Disclose Information

We may disclose relevant information to:

Authorized Academy personnel

Staff and approved representatives who need the information to respond to your request or perform their duties.

Service providers

Organizations that help us operate the website, host or store information, manage forms and email, provide security, or deliver other services described in this notice. We limit their access to what is needed for their work and require appropriate privacy and security protections.

Clinical partners or employers

When needed to carry out a placement, introduction, or recruitment activity you request, with additional notice or consent where required. We do not publish student contact information, resumes, or individual competency records on the public website.

Legal and safety recipients

When disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law, necessary to respond to valid legal process, or appropriate to protect people, information, or legal rights.

Recipients you authorize

When you direct us to share information or otherwise provide appropriate consent.

We do not sell personal information or disclose it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

05 Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies and similar technologies can support website functions, security, preferences, and measurement of website use.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functions. Where applicable law requires consent for optional technologies, we request that consent before activating them.

06 Your Choices and Privacy Requests

You may contact us to ask about the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. You may also ask us to stop sending promotional communications.

Depending on applicable law and your circumstances, you may have additional rights to access or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain processing.

To submit a request, contact academy@mindlightacademy.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority before taking action. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any limits, such as information we must retain for legal or recordkeeping purposes. Where an appeal right applies, you may request an appeal by contacting the same address and stating that you wish to appeal.

If you receive promotional email, you can use the unsubscribe link or contact us directly. Opting out of promotional messages does not prevent necessary responses to your requests or communications about an existing enrollment or relationship.

07 How Long We Keep Information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including responding to inquiries, maintaining an ongoing relationship, meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting security.

Retention depends on the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, subject to applicable backup and legal-retention requirements.

08 How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. Access is limited to authorized people and service providers with a relevant need.
